What Is Barre:
Barre is a 60 minute full body workout that simply combines pilates, yoga, strength conditioning and ballet-inspired moves to give you beautiful, sculpted, lean muscles. A truly unique yet challenging workout, Barre utilizes the ballet barre to perform low impact isometric movements that lifts your butt, tones your thighs, abs, and arms, and burns fat in a short amount of time. This regimented routine will evenly sculpt and quickly transform the entire body, resulting in a long and lean muscle physique.
What to Expect in Barre Class:
In each energizing and targeted workout, you’ll use the barre and exercise equipment such as pilate balls and small hand weights to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body. Each class begins with a warm up followed by a series of upper body exercises using light weights. The ballet barre is then used to sculpt the lower body. Then it is down to the mat for core work and a relaxing and invigorating final stretching. The movements are choreographed and incorporates motivating music. Hard on muscles and easy on joints, the class offers modifications for all fitness levels.
